Glamorous & Trendy New Years Eve

new years eve champagne

Such a controversy, whether to get dressed up to the nines and go out on the town or whether to stay in your comfy clothes and curl up with a bottle of wine on the couch...the decision can be difficult!

If you do feel like ending the year with a bang and you're ready to slay the upcoming year, then you might want to take some inspiration from here! However, if you're getting dressed up and staying in with some champagne, you go girl! You really can't go wrong.

Hosting a New Years Eve Party

The Domestic Geek has been one of my go-to Youtube channels in the past year for anything and everything food related. This is an all around awesome NYE inspiration video, she covers everything from decor, food, champagne and party favours!

Since my wardrobe is already 90% black with a hint of silver sparkle, you'd think it would be easy?! Hey, maybe I could even pick something out of my everyday wardrobe! HA, no way! The best part of going out on NYE is justifying just exactly WHY you need a new dress, clutch, shoes, jewelry, hair, makeup and anything else you want that you didn't get for Christmas.

I wanted to share a few of my NYE favourite outfit options with you. I'm also sharing the ones that I thought were super trendy (yes, thats right, I'm helping you out, so you don't have to spend as much time online shopping as I do).

As much work as it is to be a female, we all know the sweet satisfaction of a makeover. Whether it's getting a new foundation or the splurging on a little bit of everything! My favourite things about NYE holiday glam looks are lashes, full coverage foundation, glitter liner (with black liner because why not), fierce vampy lips, super glow-y highlighter and contouring to the max! We couldn't leave the contouring trend in 2016 (its coming into 2017). I'm not going to sit here and try to explain how to actually glam your face for NYE. I'll  hand it off to another trusted beauty YouTuber fav, Jaclyn Hill. She'll show you how its done:

Side Note: If you're just starting out with makeup, or even if you're a beauty guru, I highly recommend using YouTube as a resource. It's honestly the only place I get makeup inspiration from. I mean, you can literally watch amazing artists teach you how to apply makeup!

Ladies, we are almost there! Last but not least, the hair! Ahhh, so many endless options. I'm lazy when it comes to my hair so, I usually turn to the curling wand or even hit up a hair salon for a cute updo. If neither of those options appeal to you, then let's check out some populahairstyles for the night:

I hope everyone has a sparkling NYE and enjoys the champagne! Cheers and all the best.

Don’t forget to share the love:
