With over 900 in attendance, this night was successful and enjoyed by all. We were greeted by and walked the red carpet provided by Cushman & Wakefield and Cowan Insurance Group. Thank you to Bingemans for hosting us in your two grand ballrooms and for catering! We started off the night in the first hall where we snacked on canapes and sipped on sparkling wine that was rimmed with gold sprinkles. Our own, DJ Kyle Benny Lava, spun his social beats as we all chatted and caught up with those we rarely see due to busy schedules and were even offered the chance to participate in a photo booth provided by Never Forget Photo. Such a great take home memento! Thank you to our team for set up and tear down of this room, the decor was stunning- all shimmery in gold and had an overall "lets have fun in here" vibe! We are thrilled by how the creative design for this yearly event panned out. Well done!
Dinner was served in the grand ballroom and Bingemans never fails. We started with a wine marinated pear and goat cheese salad which was followed by the main course comprised of a delicious and tender beef nestled on a bed of mashed potatoes surrounded by an assortment of winter vegetables. Dessert came next and yes, I was that girl that gladly finished my neighbours leftovers. A carefully crafted chocolate mousse cake, with berries accompanied by a solid creamer cup made entirely of chocolate and filled with a cream for pouring or dipping. It was heaven.
Throughout dinner we watched in awe as our fearless leader Carolina Soares sang our national anthem, we listened to heartwarming, uplifting and motivational speeches, applauded the nominees and congratulated all of the deserving award winners!
We stood and applauded Mike Farwell as this years recipient of the Michael R Follett Award. A prestigious award given to an outstanding community leader. Well deserved Mike!

After the award segment of the evening several chose to stay behind to continue on with the celebration! Thank you again to Stage Vision for its production, lighting and stage expertise. Thank you to all of the volunteers that make up the Greater Chamber of commerce, without any of you this night would not have been as successful and as memorable as it was. We look forward to next years gala and to celebrating with all of our business comrades again! Cheers KW!
